I had the pleasure of meeting Alainia when she was beginning her Senior year of high school and we planned a session in downtown Eau Claire. We hit it off right off the bat and hilarity and laughter ensued throughout the entire session. We played around downtown Eau Claire on the river and then ended our session on Barstow Ave. & at Revival Records. I loved Alainia’s very natural and organic approach to her personal style. She is a very fun and open person, who was just a joy to be around.
In my blogging history, I haven’t always been very consistent and as a result Alainia’s session is long overdue to make an appearance on the blog. She graduated this past summer with honors at McDonell and I would imagine she is on to a very bright and exciting future with whichever career she decides to pursue. Please keep an eye out over the coming days for more sessions that never made it to the blog. I plan to share my favorites over the next few weeks, leading into 2014.
One of my goals for 2014 is also to set aside one day a week for blogging and keep on top of it and hold myself accountable for sharing the journeys I am on with you. I meet so many fantastic people throughout the course of owning my business and capturing the spirits of people. Even sometimes, I have so many photos from a session that I cringe inside to know that they simply sit on a hard drive never to be seen by anyone. Photographer problems.
I’m looking forward to the excitement that 2014 will bring, and sharing with you all of the wonderful people I meet along the way and the sessions that are created through the collaborations I have with my clients. I hope you all enjoy the holiday season and find yourself venturing to the blog a little more often to see what’s going on. Thank you for being here.
