A couple of weekends ago now, I had a shoot with Miss Caitlin at an apple orchard. We were hoping for photos with apple blossoms in full bloom, but alas, the unpredictable Wisconsin weather was not about to allow that. A few days before our scheduled shoot, we had a terrible storm that wiped out all of the apple blossoms on the trees and when we arrived there were only one or two with very few blossoms remaining. We made the best with what we were given though, and came away with some stellar images. The few I am sharing here are just a select few that I could share, and narrowing them down to these was extremely difficult. Truly, I want to share the entire gallery with you all. Caitlin’s mom and I spent a good month planning this shoot, every detail was tended to. Caitlin’s dress is by Love Baby J, a very popular dress designer that caters to a posh boutique style look for one of a kind dresses for young girls. These dresses would be perfect for the opera, flower girl dresses, cruises, or other very special occasions. Of course, they would also be wonderful for milestone portrait sessions.
Caitlin and I hit it off right off the bat. She’s a silly little girl with an extremely huge personality. At 8 years old, she is beyond smart and beautiful to boot. After spending only 15 minutes with Caitlin, I had amazing images that I could have gladly ended the shoot with and 2 hours later I am not quite sure what to do with myself. I hope you enjoy what we created for you, I am beyond thrilled and excited with this collaborative effort at one of my very first, true, stylized shoots and looking forward to many more to come in the future. Follow me on Facebook, and be sure to check the blog often for things that do not make it to Facebook. And even better, if you would like to plan a stylized shoot of your own, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am excited to hear from you!
